Inter-school Quiz Competition 2023 (小學校際常識大賽2023) Final Round was taken place on July 9, 2023 (Sunday) at Murray House in Stanley. The event is jointly organized by Hong Kong Youth Cultural & Arts Competitions Committee and Metro Education Plus. Eastern United Development Limited is delighted to be one of the sponsors of the event.
The Inter-school Quiz Competition originated in 1977 as an inter-school quiz competition primarily for secondary school students, it focused on Chinese culture and history. In 1980, it was expanding the content to cover various subjects from the secondary school curriculum. It gained attention from the education sector, with many secondary schools forming teams to participate and providing dedicated training for students. It was treated as one of the extra-curricular activities for students. In 1983, it comprised questions not only academic knowledge but also encouraging students to have a global perspective, be aware of their community, and promote civic consciousness.
